On Saturday April 28- Sunday April 29, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the New Jersey Spring Jr. Open at Hopewell Valley Golf Club in Hopewell, New Jersey. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Boys Under 10 Division, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Liam Hart of Holland, Pennsylvania finished in first place in the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18. Liam finished with a two-day total score of 150(72-78). Aidan Devlin of Morristown, New Jersey came in second place with a two-day total score of 155(77-78). Alex Seelig of Reading, Pennsylvania finished in third place with a two-day total score of 156(75-81).
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Paul Ulanich of Freehold, New Jersey finished in first place with a two-day total score of 158(78-80). Austin Liao of Warren, New Jersey came in second place with a two-day total score of 159(78-81). Tyler Zimmer of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania finished in third place with a two-day total score of 162(77-85).
Boys 11-13

Isaiah Marseille of Linden, New Jersey finished in first place in the Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13. Isaiah finished with a two-day total score of 154(75-79). Derek Gutierrez of Crawford, New Jersey came in second place with a two-day total score of 157(80-77). Hunter Po of Bridgewater, New Jersey finished in third place with a two-day total score of 159(71-88).
Girls 14-18

Christina Carrol of Bear, Delaware finished in first place in the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18. Christina finished with a two-day total score of 157(78-79). Megan Meng of Pennington, New Jersey came in second place with a two-day total score of 162(80-82). Natasha Kiel of New Hope, Pennsylvania finished in third place with a two-day total score of 163(85-78).
Girls U13

In the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13, Sydney Yermish of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania finished in first place with a two-day total score of 162(79-83). Megan Adelman of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania came in second place with a two-day total score of 167(80-87). Kiera Bartholomew of Westampton , New Jersey finished in third place with a two-day total score of 168(82-86).
Boys 10 Under

In the Boys Under 10 Division, Dennis Fitzgerald of Sea Girt, New Jersey finished in first place with a two-day total score of 188(98-90). Daniel Caruso of Princeton, New Jersey came in second place with a two-day total score of 249(132-117).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
