New Jersey Kickoff at Seaview

From March 27-28 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Ohio Kickoff at Delaware. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division,  Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Divison.

Boys 16-18

New Jersey Kickoff at Seaview

Jack Tarzy from Medford, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tarzy brought in scores of 72 and 71 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend.  Ethan Lee from Jackson, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 70 for a combined total of 144. Shawn Colella from Marcellus, NY finished with the top three honors with scores of 72 and 73 for a weekend total of 145.

Mark Yan was the Newburgh, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Yan brought in scores of 73 and 76 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. James Bradley from East Hampton, NY and Cole Waymire from Fleminton, NJ tied for the runner up honors this weeknd. Bradley brought in scores of 80 and 77 for a total of 157. Waymire finished with scores of 79 and 78 for a total of 157.

Nick Werner from Wilkes Barre, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Werner brought in scores of 76 and 74 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Bryan Zhao from Jericho, NY and Josh Yan from Newburgh, NY tied for the runner up honors for the weekend. Zhao brought in scores of 75 and 78 for a weekend total of 153. Yan finished with a 77 and 76 for a weekend total of 153.

Srishti Dhurandhar from Livingston, NJ the first-place finisher this weekend. Dhurandhar brought in scores of 78 and 76 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Anushka Sawant from Monmouth Junction, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 80 for a combined total of 156. Maddie Mccully from Knoxville, MD  finished with the top three honors with scores of 78 and 83 for a weekend total of 161.

Sharanya Agarwal from West New York, NJ was the first place finisher this weekend. Agarwal brought in scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Piper Smith from Lancaster, PA was the runner up for the weekend with consistent scores of 81 for a combined total of 162.  Lily Angioletti from Rivervale, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 88 and 98 for a weekend total of 186.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
