New Jersey Fall Junior Open

From October 2-3, 2021 , the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the New Jersey Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.

Boys 16-18

New Jersey Fall Junior Open

Jacob Haberstumpf from Bethlehem, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Haberstumpf finished with scores of 69 and 74 for a weekend total of 143. Jarred Berish from Pottstown, PA and Griffin Gaughan from Avondale, PA tied for runner up honors. Berish brought in scores of 81 and 79 for a weekend total of 160. Gaughan finished with scores of 80 both days for a weekend total of 160.

Jack Aiello from Manalapan, NJ was the first-place finsher this weekend. Aiello brought in scores of 77 and 76 for a weekend total of 153. Grady Gore from Far Hills, NJ was the runner up for the weekend. Gore brought in scores of 76 and 78 for a weekend total fo 154. Eli Kaufman from Montville, NJ and Matthew Lu from Basking Ridge, NJ tied for the top three honors this weekend with final scores of 157.

Tong Si from Millburn, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Si brought in scores of 74 and 72 for a weekend total of 146. Onyu Park from Blue Bell, PA was the runner up for the weekend. Park finished with scores of 89 and 78 for a weekend total of 167. John Liu from Plainsboro, NJ rounded out the top three honors for the weekend with scores of 86 and 82 for a total of 168.

Taylor Sieg from Summit, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sieg brought in scores of 83 and 77 for a weekend total of 160. Emerson Paulette from Allentown, NJ was the runner up for the weekend. Paulette finished with scores of 82 and 79 for a weekend total of 161. Gina Milazzo from Greenwood Lake, NY and Amelia Shen from Demarest, NJ tied for the top three honors this weekend with final scores of 163.

Lily Angioletti from Rivervale, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Angioletti finished the weekend with scores of 90 and 81, a final total of 171. Reese Fishman from Franklin Lakes, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 88, a final score of 180. Mara Dubacher from Bethlehem, PA was rounded out the top three honors for the weekend. Dubacher brought in scores of 91 and 92 for a weekend finish of 183.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
