From October 3-4, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the New Jersey Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

John Bradbeer from Rosemont, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bradbeer brought in scores of 75 and 79 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Dimitri Collias from King of Prussia, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 78 for a combined total of 154. Ian Johnson from Alexandria, VA finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 76 for a weekend total of 155.
Boys 14-15

Drew Clark from Kennett Square, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Clark brought in scores of 81 and 74 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Sam Feeney from West Chester, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 78 for a combined total of 156. Hunter Stetson from Newtown Square, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162.
Boys 11-13

Matthew Lu from Basking Ridge, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lu brought in scores of 74 and 80 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Parker Rollins from Ridgewood, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 84 for a combined total of 161. Tong Si from Millburn, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162.
Girls 14-18

Madeleine Zang from Princeton, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zang brought in scores of 79 and 75 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Tanvi Samayam from Hillsborough, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 79 for a combined total of 156. Olivia Schwandt from Wilmington, DE finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 79 for a weekend total of 158.
Girls U13

Samantha Loninger from Crosswicks, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Loninger brought in scores of 74 and 81 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Jacqueline Zang from Princeton, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 77 for a combined total of 156. Faith Petrino from Pound Ridge, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 86 for a weekend total of 173.
Boys 10 Under

Braydon Hutwagner from Prospect, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hutwagner brought in scores of 78and 81 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Ryan Mascali from Rye, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 85 for a combined total of 176. Arvin Bajwa from Basking Ridge, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 115 and 114 for a weekend total of 229.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
