New England Sectional

From June 9-10, 2021 the Faldo Hurricane Series held the New England Sectional. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division,  Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Boys 16-18

New England Sectional

Tyler Donnellan from Riverside, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Donnellan brought in scores of 72 and 69 for a combined total of 141 (-1) for the weekend. Matthew Cohen from Lexington, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 73 for a combined total of 148 (+6). Colin Murphy from Middlefield, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 71 for a weekend total of 149 (+7).

Luke Stennett from Amston, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Stennett brought in scores of 77 and 85 for a combined total of 162 (+20) for the weekend. Michael Litke from Glastobury, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 84 for a combined total of 164 (+22). Andrew Beauton from Guilford, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 87 and 79 for a weekend total of 166 (+24).

North Chery from Trumbull, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Chery brought in scores of 68 and 65 for a combined total of 133 (-9) for the weekend. Thomas Bonomo from Greenwich, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 77 for a combined total of 159 (+17). Braydon Hutwagner from Prospect, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 88 for a weekend total of 172 (+30).

Kylie Eaton from Greenville, RI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 80 for a combined total of 163 (+21). Sydney Dweck from Darien, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 90 and 86 for a weekend total of 176 (+34).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
