From August 10th and 11th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Nashville Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Sean Mullarkey from Louisville, KY took home the victory after scoring an outstanding 70 and 75 for a combined 145. The weekend ended in a tie for Runner up. Trey Rouse from Homewood, GA who scored a 74 and 72 for total of 146 for the weekend. And Clark Akers from Nashville, TN ended the weekend with scores of 74 and 72 for a total of 146.
Josh Phillips from Franklin, TN had an impressive weekend with scores of 74 and 68 combined a 142 to take home the first-place title. Austin Bibb from Eads, TN and Carrington Newell from Halls, TN tied for runner up. Bibb scored a 78 and 77 for a total of 155. Newell scored a 77 and 78 for a total of 155.
Cooper Russell from Knoxville, TN took home first place honors with scores of 77 and 72 for a weekend score of 149. Grant Broughton from Owensboro, KY is the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 79 for a total of 159. Blake Russell from Knoxville, TN closes out our top three with scores of 86 and 79 for a total of 165.
Karson Adkins from Savannah, TN finished the weekend with scores of 76 and 77 a combined total of 153 and took home the first-place honors. Karlie Campbell from Ethridge, TN was the runner up with scores of 80 and 74 a weekend total of 154 strokes. Elizabeth “Lily” Self rounded out our top three with a total of 157.
