Nashville Junior Open #2

On Saturday October 27 – Sunday October 28, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Nashville Junior Open #2 in Spring Hill, TN. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson Dechambeau Division Boys U10, Justin Rose Division Girls U13, and the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.

Tiger Woods Boys 16-18

Nashville Junior Open #2

Morgan Robinson captured the first-place finish at the Nashville Junior Open in the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 division with a 2-day total of 147 (73-74). With solid play both days, Robinson was able to hold off Braden Hoisington, Justin Olive, and Nick Meunier as they all finished tied for 2nd place with a 2-day total of 152.

Will Smith Boys 14-15

Nashville Junior Open #2

In the Will Smith Boys 14-15 division, Jake Garland scored a two day total of 170 for a first place victory. Solid play in the second round allowed Garland to hold his winning spot over Preston Robertson and Flynn McRae who played a solid game and finished with a 2-day total of 177.

Ernie Els 11-13

Nashville Junior Open #2

Maddox Crowder did not disappoint in the Ernie Els boys 11-13 division as he carded rounds of 74-71 to win in his division over Ethan Coffield who carded rounds of 75-71 to claim 2nd place. Behind Coffield was Tommy Frist who shot a 2-day total of 151 (75-76) to take a solo 3rd place finish.

Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18

Nashville Junior Open #2

Tzunami Polito ended up with the first-place finish in the Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division by carding a total of 151 (80-71). With consistent rounds, Polito was able to hold off Isabella Griggs by 7 shots and claiming 2nd place. Rounding out the division was Zoe Robinson who shot a 2-day total of 166 to claim the 3rd place finish.

Justin Rose Girls U13

Nashville Junior Open #2

In the Justin Rose Girls U13 division, Camryn Coffield took home a solo first place victory with a two day total of 164. Taking second place was Carlee Rogers who had a two-day total of 169 (82-87).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
