Nashville Jr. Shootout at Hermitage

From March 5th-6th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Nashville Jr. Shootout at Hermitage. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.

Boys 16-18

Nashville Jr. Shootout at Hermitage

Conner McCall from Vandalia, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. McCall brought in scores of 77 and 72 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Viktor Stollinger from Budapest, Hungary was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 74 and 77 for a combined total of 151. Harper Ackermann from Webster Groves, MO, and Parker Boehne from Iuka, IL tied for top three honors with scores of 77 and 75, and 79 and 73 for a weekend total of 152 each.

Carson Wilds from Arrington, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wilds brought in scores of 79 and 79 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Nick Vilela from Washington, MO was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 84 and 77 for a combined total of 161. Peyton Toon from Paducah, KY finished top three honors with scores of 79 and 86 for a weekend total of 165.

Lyoto Bellon from Saint Louis, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bellon brought in scores of 78 and 80 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Parker Andersen from New Melle, MO was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159. Leo “Lion” Zelaya from Derwood, MD finished top three honors with scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162.

Shelly Jang from Franklin, TN was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 75 and 81 for a combined total of 156. Gabriella Tapp from South Lyon., MI finished top three honors with scores of 84 and 79 for a weekend total of 163.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
