From January 16th to the 17th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Napa Valley Junior Open . The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls U13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Griffin Smith from Sacramento, CA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in scores of 75 and 70 for a combined total of 145 for the weekend. Trevor Moquin from Belmont, CA finished with the runner up honors for the weekend. Moquin brought in consistant scores of 75 for a combined total of 150. Arthur Lyons IV from Granite Bay, CA finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 76 for a weekend total of 153.
Boys 14-15

Alexander LemMon from Glen Ellen, CA was the first-place finisher this weekend. LemMon brought in scores of 75 and 74 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Luke Sedleniek from Sacramento, CA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 82 for a combined total of 161. Samuel Lyons from Granite Bay, CA finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 80 for a weekend total of 163.
Boys 11-13

Colt Maloney from Napa, CA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Maloney brought in scores of 89 and 83 for a combined total of 172 for the weekend. Jack Keller from Napa, CA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 87 and 95 for a combined total of 182. Matthew Zander from San Francisco, CA finished the top three honors with scores of 103 and 95 for a weekend total of 198.
Girls 14-18

Kiana Briggs from Novato, CA was the first-place finisher for this weekend. Briggs brought in scores of 76 and 79 for a weekend total of 155. Audrey Brust from Reno, NV was the runner up for the weekend. Brust finished with scores of 83 and 74 for a combined total of 157. Olivia Duan from Cupertino, CA finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 77 for a weekend total of 160.
Girls U13

Lexi Lowe was the first-place finisher for this weekend. Lowe brought in scores of 81 and 90 for a weekend total of 171.
Boys 10 Under

Ryder Lin from Daly City, CA was the first-place finisher for this weekend. Lin brought in scores of 82 and 85 for a weekend total of 167. Jay Hsu from San Bruno, CA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 86 for a final scores of 176.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
