From February 11-12, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Myrtle Beach Winter Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Alejandro Caraballo from Williamsburg, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Caraballo brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Ty O’Brien from Myrtle Beach, SC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 78 for a combined total of 153. Aiden Aguilar from Myrtle Beach, SC finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 79 for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 14-15
Jamen Sanders from Goose Creek, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sanders brought in scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. David Kowalewski from Barrie, Canada was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 91 for a combined total of 183.
Boys 11-13
Jaycob Fowler from Jonesborough, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fowler brought in scores of 90 and 89 for a combined total of 189 for the weekend.
Girls 14-18
Gracelyn Toler from Myrtle Beach, SC the first-place finisher this weekend. Toler brought in scores of 101 and 102 for a combined total of 203 for the weekend.
Girls U13
Anna Baines Trisler from Myrtle Beach, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Trisler brought in scores of 104 and 96 for a combined total of 200 for the weekend. Grace Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 107 and 100 for a combined total of 207.
Boys 10 Under
Liam Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 95 and 88 for a combined total of 183 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
