From November 16th to the 17th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Mission Inn Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division 13U.
Tiger Woods Boys 16-18
Cooper Lindberg from Orlando, Florida was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lindberg brought in a scores of 76 and 73 for a weekend total of 149. Luke Bigelow, scores of 84 and 74, from Sharon, Canada and Connor Logan, scores of 82 and 76, from Toronto, Canada tied for the weekends runner-up slot with weekend totals of 158.
Will Smith Boys 14-15
Yexing Li from Shenzhen, China sealed his victory by finishing the weekend with scores of 82 and 79 for a total of 161. Jiakai Chen from Lakewood Ranch, Florida took the runner up slot with scores of 77 and 86 for a weekend total of 163. Robby Goulet from Orlando, Florida rounded out the top three honors with scores of 86 and 78 for a total of 164.
Ernie Els 11-13
Henry Latta from Ponte Vedrea Beach, Florida was the first-place division winner. Latta brought in a scores of 89 and 84 shooting a weekend total of 173. Liam Lodding from Huntley, Illinois was the second-place finisher with a scores of 112 and 98 for a total of 210.
Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18
Vivan Kuang from Lakewood Ranch, Florida was the top finisher with scores of 79 and 88 for a weekend total of 167. Alejandra Cambronero from Spain tied the runner up title with scores of 86 and 83 for a total of 169. Norah Catlin from Zephyrhills, Florida teied tied as the runner up with scores of 85 and 84 for a weekend total of 169.
Justin Rose Girls U13
Carlee Meilleur from Lansdowne, Canada was our top finsisher for the Justin Rose Division with scores of 81 and 77 for a total of 158. Sophia Hong from Windermere, Florida took the the runner up slot with scores of 84 and 81 for a weekend total of 165. Jamie Lowry from Fort Myers, Florida finished third with scores of 84 and 82 for a total of 166.
