From October22-23, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Midwest/WestRegional Invitation presented by Radison Hotels Americas. Thetournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisionsthat included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division,Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Kingston Solomon from Omaha, Nebraska was the first-place finisher this weekend. Solomon brought in scores of 79 and 70 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Andrew Ballou from Victoria, Minnesota was tied runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 74 for a combined total of 154. Josh Esterley from Chaska, Minnesota was tied runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 79 for a weekend total of 154.
Boys 14-15

Logan Keeter from Northbrook, Illinois was the first-place finisher this weekend. Keeter brought in scores of 82 and 78 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Ryan Cronin from Eden Prairie, Minnesota was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 84 for a combined total of 161. Brandon Yabandith from St. Michael, Minnesota finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 81 for a weekend total of 163.
Boys 11-13

Ayush Damodar from Brookfield, Wisconsin was the first-place finisher this weekend. Damodar brought in scores of 85 and 88 for a combined total of 173 for the weekend. Liam Kelly from Winnetka, Illinois was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 91 for a combined total of 174. Blaze Burt from Hinsdale, Illinois finished the top three honors with scores of 88 and 89 for a weekend total of 177.
Girls 14-18

Olivia Salonek from Roseville, Minnesota was the first-place finisher this weekend. Salonek brought in scores of 76 and 80 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Grace Petzold from Plymouth, Minnesota was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 85 for a combined total of 157. McKenna Nelson from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 83 for a weekend total of 162.
Girls U13

Zoe Gryniewicz from Wauwatosa, Wisconsin was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gryniewicz brought in scores of 84 and 82 for a combined total of 166 for the weekend. Annika Hendrickson from Maple Grove, Minnesota was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 90 for a combined total of 172. Abigail Henriksen from DeForest, Wisconsin finished the top three honors with scores of 91 and 82 for a weekend total of 173.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
