From October 26th to the 27th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Midwest Regional Invitational presented by Vessel Leaderboard. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Dylan MacDonald from Markahm, Canada was the first-place champion this weekend. Macdonald brought in scores of 69 and 72 for a combined total of 141 for the weekend. He shot 1 eagle and 7 birdies. Andy Hennen from Saint Louis, Missouri conquered the runner up spot with scores of 73 each round for a combined total of 146. Jay Fjelstul from Decorah, Iowa finished the top three honors with scores of 74 both rounds for a weekend total of 148.
Noah Kirsch, from Lancaster, Wisconsin was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 81 and 78 for a combined total of 159. Nate Spear from Burlington, Iowa was the runner up with scores of 81 and 78 for a 161 weekend total. Michael Tesbeck of Middleton, Wisconsin finished third with scores of 81 each round for a weekend total of 162.
James Ackerman from Leawood, Kansas stoke the champion spot this weekend after he brought in scores of 83 and 72 for a combined score of 155. Kevin Wesolowski from Hickory Hills, Illinois was the second-place finisher with scores of 77 both rounds for a total of 156. Rounding out the top three was Jack Mulligan from Burr Ridge, Illinois. Muligan ended the weekend with scores of 81 and 76 for a total of 157.
Josalynn Abbott from Eagan, Minnesota went home as champion this weekend. Abott brought in scores of 79 and 77 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. She had 3 birdies throughout the weekend. Nicole Rallo of Wentzville, Missouri came in as runner up for the weekend. Rallo put up scores of 82 and 81 for a combined total of 163. Reagan Stuke of Delafield, Wisconsin was the third place finisher with scores of 85 and 89 for a weekend total of 174.
Sky two Hawks Skendore from De Pere, Wisconsin was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 89 and 84. Her combined total for the weekend was 173 strokes. Sophia Gold from Quincy, Illinois was the runner up with scores of 96 and 88 for a total of 184. Amelia Tan of Hinsdale, Illinois finished third. Tan had scores of 92 and 96 for a total of 188.
Boys 10 Under
Caden Fehr from Wildwood, Missouri was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fehr brought in scores of 80 each round for a combined score of 160. Elijah Lemmon of McCordsville, Indiana was the runner up with scores of 86 and 80 for a total score of 166. Finishing in third was Lyoto Bellon of Saint Louis, Missouri. Bellon finished with scores of 93 and 89 for a total of 182 for the weekend.
