Midwest Regional Invitational

From October 24-25, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Midwest Regional Invitational. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Midwest Regional Invitational

Thomas Gogel from Mission Hills, KS was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gogel brought in scores of 73 and 76 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Owen Rexing from Inver Grove Heights, MN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Jack DiTrani from Hinsdale, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 80 for a weekend total of 152.

Ryan Stendahl from Maple Grove, MN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Stendahl brought in scores of 74 and 72 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Aiden Cudney from Appleton, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Dain Johnson from Middleton, WI finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 73 for a weekend total of 153.

Vaughn Roseman from Walcott, IA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 84 for a combined total of 164. Cody Guetzke from Hartland, WI and Mason Lewis both finished the top three honors. Guetzke finished with scores of 81 and 84 for a weekend total 165. Lewis finished with 80 and 85 for a total 165.

Riley Lewis from Edwardsville, IL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lewis brought in scores of 80 and 74 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Madison Holmes from Paragould, AR and Camille Kuznik from Orono, MN were the runners up for the weekend. Holmes finished with scores of 80 and 79 for a combined total of 159. Kuznik finished with scores of 79 and 80 for a weekend total of 159.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
