From September 25-26, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Mid Atlantic Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of three divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, and Boys 11-13 Division.
Erik Sohn from Chevy Chase, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sohn brought in scores of 73 and 78 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Daniel Ailor from Montpelier, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153. Gareth Ryder from Chesapeake, VA and Caden Sherman from Glen Allen, VA tied for the top three honors this weekend. Ailor brought in scores of 78 and 80 for a total of 158 for the weekend. Sherman finished with scores of 76 and 82 for a combined weekend total of 158.
Rusty Hooks from Forest, VA was the first-place finisher for this weekend after winning in a playoff against Bennett Galper. Hooks finished with scores of 82 and 78 for a weekend total of 160. Bennett finished the weekend with runner up honors with scores of 81 and 79 for a weekend total of 160. Rounding out the top three honors was Thomas Kirby from Alexandria, VA. Kirby finished with scores of 81 both days for a total of 162 for the weekend.
Vidur Rajagopalan from Ashburn, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rajagopalan brought in scores of 81 and 79 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Ian Wang from Potomac, MD was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 100 for a combined total of 191. Justin Han from Fairfax Station, VA finished the top three honors with scores of 102 and 99 for a weekend total of 201.
