From September 21st to the 22nd the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Major Championship at Northfield. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13 and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Owen Covey, from New Richmond, WI was the first-place finisher this weekend. Covey brought in scores of 77 and 78 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Stellan Orvick from Minneapolis, MN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 84 for a combined total of 160. Brooks Loeffler from Eagan, MN finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 86 for a weekend total of 162.
Ryan Stendahl, from Maple Grove, MN was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 84 and 79 for a combined total of 163. Cole Witherow from Woodbury, MN was the runner up with scores of 87 and 77 for a 164 weekend total. Caden Jacobson from finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 88 for a weekend total of 172.
Isaac Ahn from Byron. MN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ahn brought in scores of 84 and 78 with a combined score of 162. Carver Larson from Alexandria, MN was the second-place finisher with scores of 85 and 80 for a total of 165.
Jessica Guiser from Hartland, WI was the top finisher with impressive scores of 81 and 78 for a 159 weekend finish. Maddie Simon from Mahtomedi, MN took home the runner up title with scores of 80 and 80 for a weekend total of 160. Emree Cameron from Nevada, MO rounded out the top three with scores of 82 and 84 a combined total of 166.
