From August 24th and 25th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Doral Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Garnet Manley III from Lynchburg, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Manley brought an impressive scores of 75 and 71 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Will Conway from Charlotte, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 79 for a combined total of 157. Drew Coppin from Denver, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 74 for a weekend total of 158.
Alexander Gould from Greensboro, NC was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 75 and 08 for a combined total of 155. Ryan McCarthy from Cary, NC was the runner up with consistent scores of 79 for a 158 weekend total. Rounding out our top three was Aiden Robertson from Glen Allen, VA who brought in scores of 83 and 78 for a combined total of 161.
Ethan Coffield from Hamilton, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Coffield brought in scores of 82 and 72 with a combined score of 154. Tyler Taber from Mt. Pleasant, SC was the second-place finisher with scores of 78 and 76 for a total of 154. To round out the top three was Cooper Hayes from Stanley, NC with scores of 81 and 76 for a total of 157.
Paula Maria Ferrer from Queretaro, Mexico was the top finisher with scores of 85 and 78 for a 163 weekend finish. Jessica Shao from North Myrtle Beach, SC took home the runner up title with scores of 86 and 81 for a weekend total of 167.
Camryn Coffield from Hamilton, GA was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 76 and 77. Her combined total for the weekend was 153 strokes.
