From August 31st and September 1st, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Low Country Junior Open The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Tommy Lamb of Cary, North Carolina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lamb brought in scores of 72 and 68 for a combined total of 140 for the weekend. Nicolai Jensen of Copenhagen, Denmark was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 74 and 71 for a combined total of 145. Tyler Kriney of Hilton Head Island finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 73 for a weekend total of 146.
Sean Engler of Bluffton, South Carolina, was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores 77 and 71, offor a weekend total 140 . Charlie Fetter Charlotte, North Carolina was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 75for a combined total150, Landon Durham of Savannah, Georgia finished in third place with a score of 84 and 79 for a weekend total of 163
OT Mitchell of Fort Mill, South Carolina was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mitchell brought in scores of 77 and 74 with a combined score of 151. Kai Marko of Roswell, Georgia was the second-place finisher with scores of 75 and 82 for a total of 157. To round out the top three was Michael Gavin of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Gavin ended the weekend with scores of 80 and 83 for a total of 163.
Nicole Whatley from Northville, MI was the top finisher with impressive scores of 67 and 72 for a 139 weekend finish. Lianna Amoruso from Plesantville, NY took home the runner up title with scores of 76 and 76 for a weekend total of 152. Maddie Frank from Hilton Head Island, SC rounded out the top three with scores of 83 and 74 a combined total of 157.
Alexandra Mathis from Leesburg, VA was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 94 and 82. Her combined total for the weekend was 176 strokes.
