From October 19th to the 20th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Legacy on Lanier Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Zach Lehman from Woodstocj, Georgia was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lehman brought in scores of 80 and 80 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Bryan Kim from Evans, Georgia was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 77 for a combined total of 162. Ethan Shim from Alpharetta, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 80 for a weekend total of 162.
Boys 14-15

Alex Gray, from Dacula, Georgia was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 82 and 85 for a combined total of 167. Ben Shelton from Atlanta, Georgia was the runner up with scores of 86 and 85 for a 171 weekend total. Cole Humphrey from McDonough, Georgia finished the top three honors with scores of 93 and 86 for a weekend total of 179.
Boys 11-13
Girls 14-18

Ally Buchanon from Athens, Georgia was the top finisher with impressive scores of 90 and 86 for a 176 weekend finish. Sanika Kulkarni from Alpharetta, Georgia took home the runner up title with scores of 94 and 85 for a weekend total of 179. McKensey Kaseta from Marietta, Georgia rounded out the top three with scores of 97 and 84 a combined total of 181.
Girls U13

Alisa Pressley from Flowery Branch, Georgia was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 96 and 81. Her combined total for the weekend was 177 strokes..

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
