From February 6-7, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Legacy at Lanier Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Colt Ingram from Aiken, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ingram brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Bryan Kim from Evans, GA and Jack Wright from Johns Creek, GA tied for the runner up honors for the weekend. Kim brought in scores of 75 and 81 for a combined total of 156. Wright finished with scores of 75 and 81 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend.
Boys 14-15

Ben Mixon from Woodstock, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Mixon brought in scores of 77 and 82 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Josh Durthaler from Dunwoody, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 85 for a combined total of 163. George Barkley from Athens, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 83 for a weekend total of 168.
Boys 11-13

Brody McLaughlin from Canton, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. McLaughlin brought in scores of 87 and 79 for a combined total of 166 for the weekend. Aydin Dossa from Suwanee, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 87 for a combined total of 171. Anthony Beccaria from Atlanta, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 85 and 92 for a weekend total of 177.
Girls 14-18

Lucy Wiegert from Cochran, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wiegert brought in scores of 85 and 83 for a combined total of 168 for the weekend. Grace Durkin from Green Bay, WI was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 84 and 87 for a combined total of 171.

Boys 10 Under

Hudson Justus from Gainesville, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Justus brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a combined total of 151for the weekend. Andrew Busch from Acworth, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92 and 86 for a combined total of 178. Beck Patrick from Johns Creek, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 101 and 90 for a weekend total of 191.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
