From March 19th-20th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Laurel Hill Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Benjamin Chamberlin from Germantown, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. Chamberlin brought in scores of 78 and 74 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Thomas Kirby from Alexandria, VA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 84 and 83 for a combined total of 167. Jimmy Goldsborough from Hagerstown, MD finished top three honors with scores of 82 and 86 for a weekend total of 168.
Boys 14-15

Patrick Pritsios from Alexandria, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Pritsios brought in scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Finn Watson from Arlington, VA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 77 and 77 for a combined total of 154. Zachary Cerniglia from Serling, VA, and Owen Newberry from Crofton, MD tied for top three honors with scores of 83 and 83, and 86 and 80 for a weekend total of 166 each.
Boys 11-13
Armaan Osterman from Fairfax, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Osterman brought in scores of 86 and 96 for a combined total of 182 for the weekend. Justin Han from Fairfax Station, VA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 102 and 99 for a combined total of 201.
Girls 14-18

Maddie McCully from Knoxville, MD was the first-place finisher this weekend. McCully brought in scores of 79 and 82 for a combined total of 161 for the weekend. Leela Kenwood from Bethesda, MD was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 95 and 88 for a combined total of 183. Ava Heaton from Cary, NC finished top three honors with scores of 94 and 92 for a weekend total of 186.
Girls U13

Jasmine Limm from Chesterfield, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Limm brought in scores of 88 and 82 for a combined total of 170 for the weekend. Nirvika Koduru from Ashburn, VA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 90 and 82 for a combined total of 172.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
