From September 12-13, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Knoxville Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Daniel Goode from Wytheville, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Goode brought in scores of 80 and 73 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Nic Ravnborg from Dandridge, TN and Daxx Carr from Gray, TN both tied for second. Ravnborg was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157. Carr finished with scores of 77 and 80 for a weekend total of 157.
Boys 14-15

Gavin Sells from Greeneville, TN was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sells brought in scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Happy Gilmore from Bloomfield, IN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 75 for a combined total of 154. Kaden Shropshire from Newport, TN finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 83 for a weekend total of 164.
Boys 11-13

Conner Brummitt from Abingdon, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Brummitt brought in scores of 74 and 78 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Bryce Harmon from Knoxville, TN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 75 for a combined total of 153. Jack Bentz from Coalfield, TN finished the top three honors with scores of 83 and 77 for a weekend total of 160.
Girls 14-18

Caleigh Street from Jewell Ridge, VA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Street brought in scores of 70 and 76 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Lainey Panter from Blue Ridge, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156. Jessica Hoeft from Murfreesboro, TN finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 86 for a weekend total 165.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
