On Saturday March 24 and Sunday March 25, 2018, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Huntsville Jr. Classic in Owens Cross Road, Alabama at Hampton Cove-Highland. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and was made up of a field from five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Boys Under 10, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13. The HJGT would like to thank the staff of Hampton Cove for providing an amazing course for this tournament.
Boys 16-18

Charlie Buffkin of Nashville, Tennessee finished in first place in the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18. Charlie finished with a two-day total score of 145 (72-73). Christian Gentile (80-76) of Hoover, Alabama and Daniel Love (75-81) of Owensboro, Kentucky tied for second place with a two-day total score of 156.
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Dawson Garrett of Fort Payne, Alabama finished in first place with a two-day total of 149 (76-73). Will Feagin of Mountain Brk, Alabama came in second place with a two-day total of 150 (79-71). Teagan Miller of Huntsville, Alabama finished in third place with a two-day total score of 159 (77-82).
Boys 11-13
Girls 14-18

In the Justin Timberlake Girls Division Girls 14-18, Connor Geralds of Tompkinsville, Kentucky finished in first place with a two-day total score of 170 (77-93). Laura Catherine Goodson (95-86) of Birmingham, Alabama and Haley Blevins (89-92) of Madison, Alabama tied for second place with a two-day total score of 181.
Girls U13

Vilda Westh-Blanc of Bell Buckle, Tennessee finished in first place for the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13. Vilda finished with a two-day total of 167 (88-79). Isabella Warwick of Huntsville, Alabama came in second place with a two-day total score of 190 (105-85). Emily Wilson of Brentwood, Tennessee finished in a close third with a two-day total score of 191 (94-97).
Boys 10 Under

Cason Daniel of Bolivar, Tennessee finished in first place in the Boys Under 10 Division. Cason finished with a two-day total score of 173 (84-89). Channing Addington of Watkinsville, Georgia came in second place with a two-day total score of 182 (94-88). Zachary Barrett of Hendersonville, Tennessee finished in third place with a two-day total score of 199 (106-93).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
