From November 7-8, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Hilton Head Junior Classic. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Luis Thompson from Charleston, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Thompson brought in scores of 74 and 68 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Gregory Gouvin from West Suffield, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 75 for a combined total of 146. Yi Dong Wang from Foshan, China finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 73 for a weekend total of 148.
Boys 14-15

Carter Allison from Murrells Inlet, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Allison brought in scores of 78 and 76 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Williamson Mosher from St. Simons Island, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 76 for a combined total of 158. Tripp Hedden from Hilton Head Island, SC finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 80 for a weekend total of 160.
Boys 11-13

Davis Conaway from West Chester, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Conaway brought in scores of 80 and 78 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Ethan Weinberg from Marlboro, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 83 for a combined total of 165. Hunter Hylton from Hilton Head Island, SC finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 82 for a weekend total of 166.
Girls 14-18

Hope Hall from Boca Raton, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hall brought in scores of 74 and 73 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Grace Smith from Wallingford, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 77 for a combined total of 148. Sophia Kurtz from Tustin, CA finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 77 for a weekend total of 150.
Girls U13

Robbin Zetrouer from Bluffton, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Zetrouer brought in scores of 83 and 99 for a combined total of 182 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
