On Saturday October 27 – Sunday October 28, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Harmony Landing Junior Open in Goshen, KY. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson Dechambeau Division Boys U10, Justin Rose Division Girls U13, and the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Collier Curd captured the first-place finish at the Harmony Landing Junior Open in the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 division with a 2-day total of 149 (74-75). With solid play both days, Curd was able to hold off 2nd place finisher Ballard Harris by only 2 shots . Rounding out the division was Jacob Connors who finished with 153 (77-76)
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Boys 14-15 division, Mason Hamrick took home first place this weekend in shooting a 2-day total of 155. Solid play in the second round allowed Hamrick to take victory over Michael Long who finished in second with a 2-day total of 158. Rounding out the division was Peyton Bonny who had a 2-day total of 159 to take home a solo third place finish.
Boys 11-13

Abe Williams did not disappoint in the Ernie Els boys 11-13 division as he carded rounds of 82-86 to win in his division over Dylan Cullman who placed 2nd with a total of 170.
Girls 14-18

Peyton Schaffer ended up with the first-place finish in the Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division by carding a total of 150 (78-83). With consistent rounds, Schaffer was able to hold off 2nd place finisher Madison Cecil by 4 shots. Rounding out the division was Abigail Sutherland who shot a 2-day total of 166 to claim 3rd place.
Girls U13

In the Justin Rose Girls U13 division, Kyra Dube took home a solo first place victory with a two day total of 162. Taking second place was Gracie Song who had a two-day total of 180 (90-90). Rounding out the division in third place was Zoe Duval who finished with a total of 192.
Boys 10 Under

Jacob Holzer won first place in the Bryson Dechambeau boys U10 division with a total of 163. Lyoto Bellon finished with a two-day total of 187 giving him a solo second place finish.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
