Faldo Hurricane Series Southeast Sectional

From July14-15, the Faldo Hurricane Series held the Faldo Southeast Sectional. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division,  Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Faldo Hurricane Series Southeast Sectional

Cooper Tendick from Kennesaw, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Tendick brought in scores of 75 and 75 for a combined total of 150 (+6) for the weekend. Ronak Lalaji from Atlanta, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 79 for a combined total of 155 (+11). Logan Moon from McDonough, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 80 for a weekend total of 158 (+14).

Hudson Lawson from Haleyville, AL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lawson brought in scores of 74 and 72 for a combined total of 146 (+2) for the weekend. Kai Marko from Roswell, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 70 and 78 for a combined total of 148 (+4). Dakota Cunningham from Olive Branch, MS finished the top three honors with scores of 70 and 80 for a weekend total of 150 (+6).

Seo from Dalton, GA finished the top three honors with scores of 93 and 86 for a weekend total of 179 (+35).

Blair Maner from Atlanta, GA and Lily Varnes from Blackshear, GA tied for third-place with a score of 162 (+18).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
