Faldo Hurricane Series South Regional

From August 21-22, 2021, the Faldo Hurricane Series held the South Regional. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Divison, Boys U10 Divison, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Boys 16-18

Faldo Hurricane Series South Regional

Garret Ebbert from Lake Mary, FL was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Ebbert brought in impressive scores of 71 and 66 for a weekend total of 137. Chris Terzian from Gainesville, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Terzian finished with scores for 72 and 70 for a weekend total of 142. Cooper Tendick from Kennesaw, GA rounded out the top three honors for the weekend. Tendick brought in scores of 72 and 74 for a weekend finish of 146.

Kai Marko from Roswell, GA was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Marko brought in scores of 71 and 72 for a weekend total of 143. Sterling Hurd from Austin, TX was the runner up for the weekend. Hurd finished with scores of 71 and 76 for a weekend total of 147. Rounding out the top three honors was Hudson Lawson from Haleyville, AL. Lawson brought in scores of 74 both days for a 148 final total.

Charles David Beeson from Atlanta, GA was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Beeson finished with scores of 73 and 71 for a weekend total of 144. Trevor Challice from Palm Coast, FL and Jonathan Weinberg from Palm Beach Gardens, FL tied for the runner up honors. Challice brought in scores of 74 both days for a final score of 148. Weinberg finished with scores of 72 and 76 for a weekend total of 148.

Sophie Anand from Windermere, FL was the first-place finisher for the weekend. Anand finished with scores of 73 and 71 for a weekend total of 144. Anika Richards from Fernandina Beach, FL was the runner up for the weekend. Richards brought in scores of 78 and 72 for a weekend total of 150. Rounding out the top three honors was Victoria Tan from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Tan brought in scores of 75 and 76 for a weekend total of 151.

Kathryn DeLoach from Athens, GA was the first-place finisher for the weekend. DeLoach finished with scores of 78 and 72 for a weekend total of 150. Regan Dusenbery from Wichita, KS was the runner up for the weekend. Dusenbery brought in scores of 76 and 82 for a weekend total of 158. Collins Clinard from Waxhaw, NC rounded out the top three honors with scores of 92 on both days.

Justus brought in scores of 76 and 70 for a weekend total of 146.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
