Don Law South Florida Junior Open

From December 14th to the 15th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Don Law South Florida Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, Justin Rose Division 13U, and Bryson Dechambeau 10U.

Emiliano Tercro Gomez from Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend.  Gomez brought in a scores of 84 and 71 for a weekend total of 155.  Jordan Evans from Sarasota, Florida finished with scores of 82 and 74 totaling 156 securing the Runner-up slot.  Charles Quiron, scores of 81 and 79, and Aissa el Khadri, scores 85 and 75, tied for third place with weekend totals of 160.

Ail Berker from Potomac, Maryland sealed his victory by finishing the weekend with scores of 75 and 73 for a total of 148. Elijah Zamarron from Sunirse, Florida took the runner up slot with scores of 80 and 70 for a weekend total of 150. Poonyapat Nantsupawat from Boca Raton, Florida rounded out the top three honors with scores of 81 and 77 for a total of 158.

Jaime Yzaga from Lima, Peru was the first-place division winner. Yzaga brought in a scores of 75 and 78 shooting a weekend total of 153. Jack Rosen from Boca Rotan, Florida was the second-place finisher with a scores of 85 and 74 for a total of 159.  Ethan Hill from Maraval finished third place with scores of 85 and 81 for a total 166.

Kyrsten Shawah from Boca Raton, Florida was the top finisher with scores of 81 and 73 for a weekend total of 154. Vilda Blanc from Wartrace, Tennessee placed second place with scores of 76 and 79 for a total of 155. Hope Hall, scores of 82 and 78, and Marissa Cardenas, scores of 82 and 78, tied for the third place with total scores of 160.

Honorine Ferry from Pinehurst, North Carolina was our top finsisher with scores of 80 and 74 for a total of 154.  Madison Lowerstein from Boca Raton, Florida took the the runner up slot with scores of 79 and 79 for a weekend total of 158. Valentina Hurtado from Weston, Florida finished third with scores of 79 and 82 for a total of 161.

Ignacio Hurtado from Weston, Florida was our top finsisher with scores of 79 and 80 for a total of 159.  Liam Ly from South Fla, Florida took the the runner up slot with scores of 82 and 78 for a weekend total of 160. About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
