From April 15-16, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Disney LBV Junior Open presented by BioSteel. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Joshua Ince from Surrey, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ince brought in scores of 73 and 69 for a combined total of 142 for the weekend. Rua Kimotho from Fairfax, VA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 71 for a combined total of 142. Ince defeated Kimotho in a playoff to take home first-place. Rafa Tanjung from Jakarta, Indonesia finished the top three honors with scores of 73 and 73 for a weekend total of 146.
Boys 14-15

Emiliano Delsol from San Luis Potosi, Mexico was the first-place finisher this weekend. Delsol brought in scores of 76 and 74 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Luis Arista from Pachuca, Mexico and Santiago Navarro from Winter Garden, FL tied for runner up for the weekend. Arista’s scores of 77 and 75 and Navarro’s scores of 80 and 72 both combined for a weekend total of 152.
Boys 11-13

Nico Vasto from Jacksonville, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Vasto brought in scores of 77 and 81 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Mateo Quenneville from Port St. Lucie, FL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 85 for a combined total of 165. Drew Brink from Winter Springs, FL finished the top three honors with scores of 90 and 88 for a weekend total of 178.
Girls 14-18
Helen Yeung from Conburi, Thailand was the first-place finisher this weekend. Yeung brought in scores of 72 and 71 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Flavia Tamburlini from St. Gallen, Switzerland was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72 and 74 for a combined total of 146. Isabella Diaz from Xalapa, Mexico finished the top three honors with scores of 72 and 75 for a weekend total of 147.
Girls U13

Jewel Lafleche from Winnipeg, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lafleche brought in scores of 88 and 82 for a combined total of 170 for the weekend. Renata Duran from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 97 and 105 for a combined total of 202.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
