From August 22-23, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Deer Ridge Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Scott Jordan from Pittsburgh, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Scott brought in scores of 72 and 69 for a combined total of 141 for the weekend. Tim Fitzgerald from Sewickley, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78 and 73 for a combined total of 151. Ryder Jones from Fermland, IN finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 76 for a weekend total of 157.
Boys 14-15

Kyle Smetiouk from Delaware, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smetiouk brought in scores of 77 and 75 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Winston Brown from Decatur, IN was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 81 for a combined total of 164.

Girls 14-18

Nicole Jones from Shelby, OHwas the first-place finisher this weekend. Jones brought in scores of 78and 79 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Brooklyn Millard from Aurora, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 76 for a combined total of 161.
Girls U13

Eva Becerril from Blue Ash, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Becerril brought in scores of 92 and 80 for a combined total of 172 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
