From March 18-19, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Dallas Spring Junior Open at Waterchase. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Ty Adkins from Hutchinson, INT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Adkins brought in scores of 76 and 77 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Stephen Crescenzo from Nacogdoches, TX was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 73 for a combined total of 153. Adkins defeated Crescenzo in a one-hole playoff. Kade Bracken from Larkspur, CO finished the top three honors with scores of 75 and 81 for a weekend total of 156.

Boys 11-13

Bryar Murphy from Prosper, TX was the first-place finisher this weekend. Murphy brought in scores of 70 and 73 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Hudson Greene from Bossier City, LA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 70 for a combined total of 146. Austin Anderson from Gunter, TX finished the top three honors with a score of 74 on both days for a weekend total of 148.
Girls 14-18
Girls U13

Dixie Mae Crain from SpringTown, TX was the first-place finisher this weekend. Crain brought in a score of 76 on both days for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Veronika Germain from Houston, TX was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 74 for a combined total of 153. Gracie Walker from McKinney, TX finished the top three honors with scores of 80 and 76 for a weekend total of 156.
Boys 10 Under

Pierce Doudney from Lucas, TX was the first-place finisher this weekend. Doudney brought in scores of 76 and 71 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Cole Murphy from Prosper, TX was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 72 for a combined total of 158. Mir Lama from Colleyville, TX finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 79 for a weekend total of 163.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
