From September 14th to 15th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Conneticut Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Daniel LeBlanc from Danbury, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. LeBlanc brought in scores of 82 and 71 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Christopher Pieper from Woodbury, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 75 and 79 for a combined total of 154. Colin Barrett from Avon, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 77 for a weekend total of 156.
John Guerrera from Farmington, CT was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 81 and 83 for a combined total of 164. Tyler Vitolo from Greenwich, CT was the runner up with scores of 89 and 87 for a 176 weekend total. Andrew Flynn from Monroe, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 90 for a 176 weekend total.
Colin Firda from Monroe, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Firda brought in scores of 77 and 82 with a combined score of 159. Angad Manaise from Stamford, CT was the second-place finisher with scores of 84 and 85 for a total of 169. Andrew Beauton from Guilford, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 88 and 85 for a 173 weekend total.
Mia Scarpatti from Norwalk, CT was the top finisher with impressive scores of 77 and 80 for a 157 weekend finish. Megan Fitchett from Oshawa, Canada took home the runner up title with scores of 79 and 78 for a weekend total of 157. Milan Yorke from Anosia, CT rounded out the top three with scores of 81 and 94 for a combined total of 175.
Ameile Phung from Forest Hills, NY was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 74 and 78. Her combined total for the weekend was 152 strokes. Sydney Young from New Canaan, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 78, a combined total of 158 strokes. Yvette O’Brien from Greenwich, CT rounded out the top three with scores of 89 and 102 for a combined total of 191.
