Connecticut Fall Junior Open

From September 11-12, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Connecticut Fall Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Boys 16-18

Connecticut Fall Junior Open

Lars-Belvin Larsson from Malmo, Sweden was the first-place finisher this weekend. Larsson brought in scores of 73 and 74 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Saketh Hedge from Freeport, Bahamas was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77 and 74 for a combined total of 151. Jonathan Oakes from Dobbs Ferry, NY finished with the top three honors with scores of 72 and 83 for a weekend total of 155.

Connecticut Fall Junior Open

Max Baldwin from Tolland, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Baldwin brought in scores of 76 and 77 for a combined total of 153 for the weekend. Blake Barrett from Avon, CT and Robert Fischer from Bedford Hill, NY tied for the runner up this weekend. Barret finished with scores of 76 and 88 for a combined total of 167. Fischer finished with scores of 89 and 78 for a weekend total of 167.

Kyle Beaudry from Madison, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Beaudry brought in scores of 85 and 79 for a combined total of 164 for the weekend. Austin Perkins from West Hartford, CT was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 85 and 83 for a combined total of 168. Jack Yaggi from Pound Ridge, NY finished the top three honors this weekend. Yaggi brought in scores of 84 and 87 for a weekend total of 171.

Cailyn Rogers from Lexington, KY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rogers brought in scores of 76 and 78 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Julianne Flynn from Norwell, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 88 and 86 for a combined total of 174. Kayla Howell from Yorktown Heights, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 95 and 85 for a weekend total of 180.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
