College Prep Series at UF

From January 4th to the 5th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the College Prep Series at UF. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

College Prep Series at UF

Easton Johnson from Kansas City, MO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Johnson brought in scores of 72 and 75 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Jean-Marc Chevrotiere from St, Joseph, Trinidad and Tabago was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 78 for a combined total of 151. Camden Smith from Windermere, FL was the third place finisher with weekend scores of 77 and 75 for a total of 152.

Finley Burke from Jesup, GA was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with consistant scores of 82 for a combined total of 164. Kuba Doliwa from Park Ridge, IL was the runner up with scores of 94 and 84 for a weekend total of 178.

Conner McCann from Tallahassee, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. McCann brought in scores of 80 and 77 with a combined score of 157. Mason Howell from Tallahassee, FL was the second-place finisher with scores of 80 and 77 for a total of 157. To round out the top three was Jamison Bryant from Milton, GA. Bryant ended the weekend with scores of 82 and 79 for a total of 161.

Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18

College Prep Series at UF

Kate Brody from Grand Blanc, MI was the top finisher with consistant scores of 80 for a 160 stroke weekend finish. Annika Stensrud from Glenwood, MN took home the runner up title with scores of 83 and 79 for a weekend total of 162. Kaylee Ehret from Fort Lauderdale, FL rounded out the top three with scores of 79 and 87 for a combined total of 166.

College Prep Series at UF

Savannah Goodman from Bonifay, FL was the top finisher with impressive scores of 81 and 90 for a 171 stroke weekend finish. Sofia Ehret from Fort Lauderdale, FL took home the runner up title with scores of 90 and 95 for a weekend total of 185. Laila McNair from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL rounded out the top three with scores of 114  and 99 for a combined total of 213.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
