College Prep Series at Purdue (54 Holes)

From May 29-31, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the College Prep Series at Purdue (54 Holes). The tournament was made up of a 54-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

JannZuzzyse Arlan Atendido from Bensenville, Illinois was the first-place finisher this weekend. Arlan Atendido brought in scores of 78, 78, and 72 for a combined total of 228 (+12) for the weekend. Benjamin Berger from St. Charles, Missouri was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80, 76, and 74 for a combined total of 230 (+14). John Olsen from Boalsburg, Pennsylvanie finished the top three honors with scores of 82, 74, and 75 for a weekend total of 231 (+15).

Harper Ackermann from Webster Groves, Missouri was the first-place finisher this weekend. Ackermann brought in scores of 80, 72, and 76 for a combined total of 228 (+12) for the weekend. Caden Baker from Fort Wayne, Indiana was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79, 77, and 76 for a combined total of 232 (+16). Caden Postma from Marion, Iowa finished the top three honors with scores of 78, 84, and 77 for a weekend total of 239 (+23).

Elijah Lemmon from McCordsville, Indiana won in a playoff to take first-place this weekend. Lemmon brought in scores of 75, 70, and 73 for a combined total of 218 (+2) for the weekend. Eli Wessel from Indianapolis, Indiana was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73, 74, and 71 for a combined total of 218 (+2).  Sam Carraher from Crown Point, Indiana finished the top three honors with scores of 73, 74 and 71 for a weekend total of 228 (+12).

Kendall Farm from Carol Stream, Illinois was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 81, 75, and 73 for a combined total of 229 (+13). Lilia Henkel from Grand Rapids, Michigan and Katherine Lemke from Geneva, Illinois tied for third-place. Henkel brought in scores of 78, 76, and 76 for a combined total of 230 (+14), while Lemke tallied weekend scores of 76, 80, and 74 for a combined total of 230 (+14).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.

Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
