From March 4-5, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the College Prep Series at NC State Presented by Sharp Focus Nutrition. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Matt Carpentier from Pittsford, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Carpentier brought in scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145 for the weekend. Hunter Swidzinski from Renfew, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 71 and 74 for a combined total of 145. Carpentier defeated Swidzinski in a playoff. Shlok Jain from Cary, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 70 for a weekend total of 148.
Boys 14-15

Junzhe Wang from Bradenton, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Wang brought in scores of 79 and 70 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Payton Schmitt from Raleigh, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152. Tate Duensing from Durham, NC finished the top three honors with scores of 82 and 72 for a weekend total of 154.
Boys 11-13

Adam Lauzon from Ste-Julie, Canada was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lauzon brought in scores of 86 and 92 for a combined total of 178 for the weekend.
Girls 14-18
Girls U13

Adelyn Rosado from Cary, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rosado brought in scores of 79 and 83 for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Gayatri Arora from Pinehurst, NC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 90 and 81 for a combined total of 171. Grace Rotatori from Stamford, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 109 and 93 for a weekend total of 202.
Boys 10 Under

Liam Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 121 and 97 for a combined total of 218 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
