From May 23-25, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the College Prep Series at Kent State. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

John Aber from Sewickley, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Aber brought in scores of 70, 75 and 71 for a combined total of 216 for the weekend. Seth Conway from Elmira, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 72, 72 and 73 for a combined total of 217. Anthony Delisanti from Sanborn, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 70, 73 and 75 for a weekend total of 218.
Boys 14-15

Nicholas Turowski from Harrison City, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Turowski brought in scores of 74, 77 and 75 for a combined total of 226 for the weekend. Julian Dugan from Rocky River, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 77, 78 and 74 for a combined total of 229. Deven Bee from Fredericksburg, OH finished the top three honors with scores of 82, 77 and 78 for a weekend total of 237.
Boys 11-13

Jonah Schollaert from Sewickley, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Schollaert brought in scores of 79, 80 and 80 for a combined total of 239 for the weekend. Charlie Pollock from Chagrin Falls, OH was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 92, 88 and 90 for a combined total of 270.

Girls U13

Gianna Clemente from Warren, OH was the first-place finisher this weekend. Clemente brought in scores of 71, 75 and 71 for a combined total of 217 for the weekend. Caroline McConnell from South Fayette, PA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 78, 78 and 71 for a combined total of 227. Julia Zigrossi from Spencerport, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 73, 82 and 75 for a weekend total of 230.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
