From March 27-28 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Ohio Kickoff at Delaware. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division,  Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.

Jase Harwell from Winston, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Harwell brought in scores of 75 and 81 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend.  Nick Noble from Sunfish Lake, MN was the runner up for the weekend. Noble brought in scores of 84 and 76 for a weekend total of 160. Jonathan Fork from Fayettevill, GA and Ronak Lalaji from Atlanta, GA tied for the top three honors. Fork finished with an 83, 80 for a weekend total of 163. Lalaji brought in scores of 84 and 79 for a toal of 163.

Josh Durthaler from Dunwoody, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Durthaler brought in scores of 79 and 78 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Ora Nicholas Parish from Augusta, GA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of  81 and 80 for a combined total of 161. Joey Hoffman from Edina, MN  finished with the top three honors with scores of 81 and 91 for a weekend total of 172.

Joshua Chang from Auburn, AL finished with the top three honors. Chang brought in scores of 80 and 82 for a weekend total of 162.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
