On Saturday October 13 – Sunday October 14, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Club Med Junior Open in Port St. Lucie, FL. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from sifive divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Rose Division Girls U13, and the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Boys 16-18

Yuya Eguchi captured the first-place finish at the Club Med Junior Open in the Tiger Woods Boys 16-18 division with a 2-day total of 143 (69-74). With solid play both days, Eguchi was able to hold off Justin Greenberg by only 1 shot having him place for second with a total of 144. Rounding out the division was Hector Debonnet with a two day total of 145.
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Boys 14-15 division Cooper Lindberg took home first place this weekend after a one hole playoff over Arjun Rana. Rounding out the division was Daiki Taniguchi who finished in third with a 2-day total of 150.
Boys 11-13

Louie Liu did not disappoint in the Ernie Els boys 11-13 division as he carded rounds of 73-74 to win in his division over Max Jelinek who carded rounds of 76-74 to claim 2nd place. Rafe Cochran shot a 2-day total of 154 (79-75) to take a solo 3rd place finish.
Girls 14-18

Madyson Gold ended up with the first-place finish in the Justin Timberlake Girls 14-18 Division by carding a total of 142 (69-73). With consistent rounds, Gold was able to hold off Hina Matsui by 3 shots and claiming 2nd place. Rounding out the division was Valentine Savioz who shot a 2-day total of 148 to claim 3rd place.
Girls U13

In the Justin Rose Girls U13 division Caiyi (Flora) Zhang took home the victory with firing a 2-day total of 153. Sabrina Dami Kim followed behind with shooting a 2-day total of 161 to take a solo 2nd finish.

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
