Cincinnati Junior Open

On Saturday April, 28- Sunday April 29, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Cincinnati Junior Open at the Golf Club at Stonelick Hills in Batavia, Ohio. . The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Boys Under 10 Division, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Tiger Woods Boys 16-18

Cincinnati Junior Open

Christian Nartker of Kalida, Ohio finished in first place in the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18. Christian finished with a two-day total score of 152(78-74). Lance Sininger of Georgetown, Ohio came in second place following one stroke behind the leader with a two-day total score of 153(77-76). Daniel Love of Owensboro, Kentucky finished in third place with a two-day total score of 154(78-76).

Will Smith Boys 14-15

Cincinnati Junior Open

In the Will Smith Division Boys 14-15 Ty Sylla of Liberty Township, Ohio finished in first place with a two-day total score of 158(77-81). Andrew Martin of Westlake, Ohio came in second place with a two-day total score of 162(80-82). Amani Dambrosio of Cheswick, Pennsylvania finished in third place with a two-day total score of 164(78-86).

Cincinnati Junior Open

Max Kearns of Newton, Ohio finished in first place in the Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13. Max finished with a two-day total score of 160(82-78). Brady Smith of Simpsonville, Kentucky came in second place with a two-day total score of 167(88-79). Cameron Phillips of Portsmouth, Ohio finished in third place with a two-day total score of 169(87-82).

Madison Smith of Union, Kentucky finished in first place in the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18. Madison finished with a two-day total score of 147(76-71). Olivia DiPaolo of Union, Kentucky came in second place with a two-day total score of 156(82-74). Maddie Hensley of Eminence, Kentucky finished in third place with a two-day total score of 157(78-79).

In the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13, Macie Brown of Mount Washington, Kentucky finished in first place with a two-day total score of 162(80-82). Meiyi Wu of Cincinnati, Ohio came in second place with a two-day total score of 164(83-81). Macy Beeson of Lapel, Indiana finished in third place with a two-day total score of 167(80-87).

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
