From March 12th-13th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Chateau Elan Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Charlie Sole from Houston, TX was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sole brought in scores of 83 and 80 for a combined total of 163 for the weekend. Cade Hagan from Simpsonville, SC was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 88 and 77 for a combined total of 165. Ian Bramlett from Bethlehem, GA finished top three honors with scores of 87 and 82 for a weekend total of 169.
Boys 14-15

Jack Merrill from Johns Creek, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Merrill brought in scores of 85 and 78 for a combined total of 163 for the weekend. Savar Bhasin from Millbury, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 91 and 79 for a combined total of 170. Jack Gibbs from Duluth, GA finished top three honors with scores of 87 and 90 for a weekend total of 177.
Boys 11-13

Thaxton Cheyne from Canton, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cheyne brought in scores of 91 and 78 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. William Qiao from Delaware, OH was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 98 and 92 for a combined total of 190.
Girls 14-18

Elle Marie Reisner from Braselton, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Reisner brought in scores of 87 and 77 for a weekend total of 164. Lili Nelson from Greensboro, GA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 88 and 85 for a combined total of 173. Lindsey Park from Duluth, GA finished top three honors with scores of 90 and 84 for a weekend total of 174.
Girls U13

Adalynne Forchette from Peach Tree City, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Forchette brought in scores of 44 and 85 for a weekend total of 129. Ava Claire Mason from Suwanee, GA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 45 and 92 for a combined total of 137. Maddie Hall from Atlanta, GA finished top three honors with scores of 49 and 94 for a weekend total of 143.
Boys 10 Under

Coley Cassedy from Grovetown, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Beck Patrick from Johns Creek, GA in a playoff. Cassedy brought in scores of 36 and 73 for a combined total of 109 for the weekend. Patrick was the runner-up after the playoff with scores of 39 and 70 for a combined total of 109. Hudson Justus from Gainesville, GA finished top three honors with scores of 43 and 70 for a weekend total of 113.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
