On Saturday April 21- Sunday April 22, 2018 The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Orange County National Junior Open at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge- Crooked Cat in Winter Garden, Florida. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole, two-day format and the field was made from six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Boys Under 10 Division, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18 and the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Boys 16-18

Alex Roberts of Beaverton, Oregon finished in first place in the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18. Alex finished with a two-day total score of 156(79-77). Bennett Kumbalek of San Antonio, Texas came in second place with a two-day total score of 157(80-77). Christian Gentile of Hoover, Alabama came in third place with a two-day total score of 162(85-77).
Boys 14-15

In the Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, TJ Griessel of Redmond, Washington finished in first place. TJ finished with a two-day total score of 152(76-76). Patrick Adler of Winnetka, Illinois came in second place with a two-day total score of 156(74-82). Burly Hildreth of Orcas Island, Washington finished in first place with a two-day total score of 165(85-80).
Boys 11-13

Charis Lee of Federal Way, Washington finished in first place in the Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13. Charis finished with a two-day total score of 153(79-74). Conrad Chisman of Stanwood, Washington came in second place with a two-day total score of 155(80-75). Adam Wrenn of Lake Oswego, Oregon finished in third place with a two-day total score of 157(81-76).
Girls 14-18
Natalia Zieroth of Marysville, Washington finished in first place in the Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18. Natalia finished with a two-day total score of 199(100-99).
Girls U13

In the Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13, Claire Chang of Bellevue, Washington finished in first place with a two-day total score of 164(86-78). Berenice Stolte of Medina, Washington came in second place with a two-day total score of 171(82-89). Lucena Villasenor of Newcastle, Washington finished in third place with a two-day total score of 187(95-92).
Boys 10 Under

In the Boys Under 10 Division Jackson Harris of Powell, Ohio came in first place with a two-day total score of 161(87-74). Zeke Prociw of Graham, Washington came in second place with a two-day total score of 185(92-93). Eli Landesberg of Bellevue, Washington finished in third place with a two-day total score of 196(98-98).

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
