Central New Jersey Junior Open

From September 12-13, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Central New Jersey Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Central New Jersey Junior Open

Hunter Po from Bridgewater, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Po brought in scores 71 and 75 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Liam Krey from River Edge, NJ and Roy Anderson from Chadds Ford, PA were the runners up for the weekend. Krey had scores of 72 and 74 for a combined total of 146. Anderson finished with scores of 70 and 76 for a weekend total of 146.

Tyler Debusschere from Wallingford, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Debusschere brought in scores of 80 and 76 for a combined total of 156 for the weekend. Ajeet Bagga from Blue Bell, PA  and Hunter Stetson from Newton Square, PA were the runners up for the weekend. Bagga with scores of 77 and 83 for a combined total of 160. Stetson with scores of 81 and 79 for a weekend total of 160.

Parker Rollins from Ridgewood, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rollins brought in scores of 79 and 79 for a combined total of 158 for the weekend. Tong Si from Millburn, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 79 and 79 for a combined total of 158. Grady Gore from Far Hills, NJ finished the top three honors with scores of 84 and 76 for a weekend total of 160.

Stefania Fedun from Glenmoore, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fedun brought in scores of 78 and 72 for a combined total of 150 for the weekend. Sofia Nogalo from Irvington, NY was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 78 for a combined total of 151. Clare Gimpel from Lafayette Hill, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 78 for a weekend total of 155.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
