From Saturday August 3rdthrough Sunday August 4th, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Canongate Series #6. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of four divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, and Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18.
Perry-Austin Kilburn of Monroe, GA was able to take home first place honors after rounds of 69 and 72. Kilburn had a total of 141 strokes for the weekend to win by a three-shot margin over his closest competitor. Trevor Bassett of McDonough, GA had consistent rounds of 72 over the weekend to finish at a total of 144 strokes and claim solo runner-up honors. Rounding up the top-three was Palmer Kahren of Suwanee, GA with a weekend total of 146 strokes to claim third-place honors.
Rob Ferris of Roswell, GA was able to seal his victory with rounds of 74 and 77, making 6 birdies over the weekend to finish at a two-day total of 151 strokes. Josh Ledford claimed runner-up honors with a total of 152 shots for the weekend and a final round 75. Rounding up the top three was Garret Armbrust of Woodstock, GA with a weekend total of 160 strokes for third place honors.
Taiki Miyagi of Johns Creek, GA was able to seal his victory with a final round of 72 and a weekend total of 145 strokes. Miyagi made 4 birdies the last day to win by a five-shot margin over his closest competitor. Jake Dalton of Gillsville, GA shot a total of 150 strokes with consistent weekend rounds and a 71 the last day to claim solo runner-up honors for the division. Rounding up the top-three were Jamison Bryant of Milton, GA with Bryant Vail of Acworth, GA and Rohan Gopaldas of Suwanee, GA with weekend rounds of 161 strokes to tie for third place honors.
Kady Foshaug of Roswell, GA claimed first place honors after shooting rounds of 73 and 71 to win by a seven-shot margin over her closest competitor. Foshaug shot a total of 144 strokes and made 8 birdies over the weekend to win. Sarah Hsu of Buford, GA had a weekend total of 151 shots to claim solo runner-up honors, making a birdie the last day. Rounding up the top three was Jada Richardson of Suwanee, GA with a weekend total of 156 shots to claim third-place for the division.
