From April 9th-10th, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Boston Spring Kickoff at Sandy Burr. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18

Stephen Ramos from Danville, NH was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Connor Allard in a playoff. Ramos brought in scores of 79 and 73 for a combined total of 152 for the weekend. Connor Allard from Exeter, NH was the runner-up this weekend after the playoff with scores of 76 and 76 for a combined total of 152. Tim Hill from Sherborn, MA finished top three honors with scores of 78 and 75 for a weekend total of 153.
Boys 14-15

Cael Duggan from Westborough, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Duggan brought in scores of 77 and 83 for a combined total of 160 for the weekend. Andrew Marcotte from Hanover, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 85 and 78 for a combined total of 163. Charlie Potter from Sherborn, MA finished top three honors with scores of 85 and 79 for a weekend total of 164.
Boys 11-13

Brian Li from Newton, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Li brought in scores of 87 and 84 for a combined total of 171 for the weekend. Charles Lans from Westwood, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 102 and 98 for a combined total of 200.
Girls 14-18

Katie Cullen from Uxbridge, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend after beating Rio (Miriam) Pearlstein in a playoff. Cullen brought in scores of 86 and 83 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. Rio (Miriam) Pearlstein was the runner-up this weekend after the playoff with scores of 83 and 86 for a combined total of 169.
Girls U13

Grace Rotatori from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rotatori brought in scores of 104 and 120 for a combined total of 224 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under

Jack Cheever from Dedham, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cheever brought in scores of 80 and 77 for a combined total of 157 for the weekend. Matteo Faggiano from Reading, MA was the runner-up this weekend with scores of 89 and 96 for a combined total of 185. Lucas Flynn from Melrose, MA finished top three honors with scores of 98 and 88 for a weekend total of 186.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
