From January 11th to the 12th the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Bluffton Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.
Tommy Lamb from Cary, NC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Lamb brought in scores of 76 and 71 for a combined total of 147 for the weekend. Nolan Hawkins from Hilton Head Island, SC was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 80 and 72 for a combined total of 152. Oliver Paddon from Sydney, Australia finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 78 for a weekend total of 154.
Thomas Ford from Hilton Head, SC was able to seal his victory by ending the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Miles Atkinson from Southlake, TX as the runner up with scores of 87 and 81 for a 168 weekend total. Richard Fiedler from Pagosa Springs, CO finished the top three honors with scores of 86 and 85 for a weekend total of 171.
Tag Graziano from Hilton Head, SC was the first-place finisher this weekend. Graziano brought in consistant scores of 77 for a combined score of 154. Cooper Russell from Knoxville, TN was the second-place finisher with scores of 77 and 78 for a total of 155. To round out the top three was Chrispope Abhiteachapan from Bangkok, Thailand. Abhiteachapan ended the weekend with scores of 81 and 79 for a total of 160.
Theresa Quasdorf from Hamburg, Germany was the top finisher with impressive scores of 74 and 72 for a 146 weekend finish. Maya Beasley from Croton on Hudson, NY and Nicole Whatley from Mount Pleasant, SC tied for second place this weekend. Beasley shot a 78 and a 74 for a weekend totoal of 152. Whatley brought in scores of 75 and 77 for a weekend total of 152.
Abigail Kim from Bluffton, SC was the top finisher for the Justin Rose division with scores of 85 and 76 a weekend total of 161. Fatima Rizvi from Bluffton, SC was the second-place finisher with scores of 84 and 78 for a total of 162. To round out the top three was Louisa Quasdorf from Hamburg, Germany. Quasdorf ended the weekend with scores of 116 and 112 for a total of 228.
