From March 6-7, 2021, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Disney Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys U10 Division and Girls 14-18 Division.
Boys 16-18

Gibson Charlton from Enterprise, AL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Charlton brought in scores of 84 and 85 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. Kaiser Godinez from Memphis, TN and Quincy Ahlias Leonard from Montgomery, AL tied for the runner up honors this weekend. Godinez and Leonard both finished with scores of 88 and 86 for a combined total of 174 strokes.
Boys 14-15

Davis Gurley from Kimberly, AL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Gurley brought in scores of 86 and 83 for a combined total of 169 for the weekend. Jack Childers from Helena, AL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 91 and 83 for a combined total of 174. Jesse Kilgore from Kimberly, AL finished the top three honors with scores of 96 and 83 for a weekend total of 179.
Boys 11-13

Naman Sharma from Johns Creek, GA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Sharma brought in scores of 90 and 92 for a combined total of 182 for the weekend. Andrew Davis from Birmingham, AL was the runner up for the weekend with consistent scores of 98 for a combined total of 196.
Girls 14-18

Emma Conway from St. Petersburg, FL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Conway brought in scores of 88 and 84 for a combined total of 172 for the weekend. Ella Howard from Gadsden, AL was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 86 and 91 for a combined total of 177. Kaitlyn Shields from Chelsea, AL finished with the top three honors with scores of 89 and 92 for a weekend total of 181.
Girls U13
Boys 10 Under

Liam Hooton from Harvest, AL was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hooton brought in scores of 86 and 90 for a combined total of 176 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division. The HJGT season is based on a calendar year and players earn points throughout the season towards year end honors beginning December 31, 2021.
