From November 19-20, 2022, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Arizona Biltmore Junior Open. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Boys 16-18 Division, Boys 14-15 Division, Boys 11-13 Division, Boys Under 10 Division, Girls 14-18 Division, and Girls Under 13 Division.
Boys 16-18
Thomas Caffarelli from Scottsdale, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Caffarelli brought in scores of 68 and 70 for a combined total of 138 for the weekend. Skylar Woods from Kirtland, NM was tied for first this weekend with scores of 67 and 71 for a combined total of 138. Clay Heilman from South Elgin, IL finished the top three honors with scores of 68 and 71 for a weekend total of 139.
Boys 14-15
Abhi Patel from Lafayette, CA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Patel brought in scores of 76 and 78 for a combined total of 154 for the weekend. Nick Armstrong from Scottsdale, AZ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 94 and 84 for a combined total of 178. Jaxon Brown from Phoenix, AZ finished the top three honors with scores of 89 and 89 for a weekend total of 178.
Boys 11-13
Ryan Rasmussen from Goodyear, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Rasmussen brought in scores of 75 and 73 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Apollo Lynch from Scottsdale, AZ was tied for first this weekend with scores of 75 and 73 for a combined total of 148. Easton Reichl from Scottsdale, AZ finished the top three honors with scores of 77 and 75 for a weekend total of 152.
Girls 14-18
Elle Higgins from Centennial, CO was the first-place finisher this weekend. Higgins brought in scores of 73 and 66 for a combined total of 139 for the weekend. Brenna Higgins from Centinnial, CO was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 73 and 73 for a combined total of 146. Madeleine Nguyen from Phoenix, AZ finished the top three honors with scores of 76 and 72 for a weekend total of 148.
Girls U13
Jaycelynn Hermsen from Queen Creek, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Hermsen brought in scores of 97 and 93 for a combined total of 190 for the weekend.
Boys 10 Under
Benjamin Bracke from Gilbert, AZ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Bracke brought in scores of 88 and 93 for a combined total of 181 for the weekend.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. With play open to both males and females, nearly every junior golfer is eligible to participate on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. Currently the HJGT is the largest multi-day junior golf tour in the United States hosting more 2-day nationally ranked events than any other tour. The HJGT has been able to achieve this goal by running the most professional events and providing an exceptional value to all of our players and families over the last 14 years.
Based out of Orlando, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the country. In 2021, the HJGT will conduct events in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Canada. Juniors will compete in 1 of 6 divisions which are: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys under 10, Girls 14-18, and Girls Under 13. Click here to view approximate yardages for each division.
