Ambassador Series at Shawnee Resort

From June 6-7, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Ambassador Series at Shawnee Resort. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of six divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Bryson DeChambeau Division Boys Under 10,  Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Mathew Smith from Hoosick Falls, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Smith brought in consistent scores of 73 for a combined total of 146 for the weekend. Jacob Haberstumpf from Bathlehem, PA was the runner up for the weekend with consistent scores of 74 for a combined total of 148. Matthew Vital from Bathlehem, PA finished the top three honors with scores of 74 and 75 for a weekend total of 149.

Anagd Manaise from Stamford, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Manaise brought in scores of 77 and 85 for a combined total of 162 for the weekend. Thomas Wen from Basking Ridge, NJ was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 83 and 84 for a combined total of 167. CJ Merritt from Plainview, NY finished the top three honors with scores of 81 and 92 for a weekend total of 173.

Mihir Roperia from Cranbury, NJ was the first-place finisher this weekend. Roperia brought in scores of 73 and 76 for a combined total of 149 for the weekend. Arjun Caprihan from Warren, NJ finished the top three honors with consistent scores of 77 for a weekend total of 154.

Charlotte Scully from Chadds Ford, PA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Scully brought in scores of 78 and 73 for a combined total of 151 for the weekend. Laetitia Roegner from Greenwich, CT finished the top three honors with scores of 79 and 75 for a weekend total of 154.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
