Ambassador Series at Sandy Burr

From July 25-26, 2020, the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour held the Ambassador Series at Sandy Burr. The tournament was made up of a 36-hole format with a field of five divisions that included the Tiger Woods Division Boys 16-18, Will Smith Division Boys 14-15, Ernie Els Division Boys 11-13, Justin Timberlake Division Girls 14-18, and Justin Rose Division Girls Under 13.

Jack Fitzgibbon from New Canaan, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Fitzgibbon brought in scores of 70 and 73 for a combined total of 143 for the weekend. Oliver Miller from Wakefield, MA and Cael Kohan from Byfield, MA were both runner ups for the weekend. Miller finished with scores of 73 and 70 for a combined total of 143. Kohan finished with scores of 68 and 75 for a weekend total of 143.

Andrew Cao from Westford, MA was the first-place finisher this weekend. Cao brought in scores of 71 and 77 for a combined total of 148 for the weekend. Ryan Chang from Lexington, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 76 and 75 for a combined total of 151. Ryan Fay from Sherborn, MA finished the top three honors with scores of 78 and 74 for a weekend total of 152.

Bryce Karty from Port Washington, NY was the first-place finisher this weekend. Karty brought in scores of 78 and 81 for a combined total of 159 for the weekend. Gavin Lane from Wayland, MA was the runner up for the weekend with scores of 82 and 88 for a combined total of 170.

Laetitia Roegner from Greenwich, CT was the first-place finisher this weekend. Roegner brought in scores of 79 and 76 for a combined total of 155 for the weekend. Lilly Moreau from Wethersfield, CT and Lucy McCabe were the runner ups for the weekend. Moreau finished with scores of 79 and 80 for a combined total of 159.  McCabe finished with scores of 83 and 76 for a combined total of 159.

About Hurricane Junior Golf Tour

In 2017, The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour announced a partnership with Nexus, an international hospitality and entertainment company backed by financier Joe Lewis and Tavistock Group, golfing great Tiger Woods and musician and entertainer Justin Timberlake, which will further our collective goal of growing the game of golf, broadening the Tour’s reach across the U.S. and around the world.

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intent of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18, and now 10 and under, an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of six age divisions: Boys 16-18, Boys 14-15, Boys 11-13, Boys U10, Girls 14-18, and Girls U13. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2016, we have now expanded to the west coast and cover California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oregon.
